Ah. It looks like your picture's file size is bigger than 50k, which is the maximum allowed by blogger, so you'll need to compress it. You can download picasa if you're using Windows (this is what I did, and I really like the program), select that picture on your computer (in picasa), select "export picture to folder" from the file menu, and resize the picture (I chose 384 pixels, which changed the file size to about 30k), and "save it to another folder." You'll still have to post the resized picture to your blog and get that URL before you can add it to your profile. Hope this helps. If you'd rather not do all that resizing, I have the (smaller) file I made and can email it to you if you'd like.
Thanks, Magda (and welcome!). I just looked at the properties for the photo, and it's 6915 bytes, so almost 7 kb -- before I go adding more programs to my computer, let me see if I can play with this and shrink it to an acceptable size. If not, I suppose there's always my *real* photo, in which I look half bagged. ;-)

Once you figure it out, can you teach me? I need to change mine and can't remember how I did it!

Sorry about that. I had clicked on the image, which took me to the larger version. Good luck with that.
